KallistoArt Honored with Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce 2020 Small Business of the Year Award
Tampa, FL – What started as the brainchild of two college pals from Sri Lanka, has evolved over the past 14 years to become KallistoArt, a minority-owned, online marketing company based in Westchase, FL, and the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, 2020 Small Business of the Year! This award celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of small businesses in Tampa and surrounding communities.
KallistoArt is a one-stop-shop specializing in high-conversion website development, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), mobile apps development, as well as focused business branding and highly-effective marketing tools, which have become increasingly more important in 2020.
KallistoArt Co-Owner, AJ Aluthwala said, “We believe every business deserves a powerful online presence, not only to create a lasting first impression with business prospects, but to entice customers to keep coming back for more!”
KallistoArt was founded when two college students, AJ and Ravi Pathirana, forged a friendship and a fathomable vision to grow a reputable online marketing company that could help small- to medium-sized businesses design and maintain a robust website presence.
These ambitious young men derived the name of their business venture from the Greek mythological Arcadian princess of beauty, Callisto; and they merged the beauty with their passion for creating website art forms that are visually stimulating and technologically effective. Thus, KallistoArt was born!
More than a decade later, co-owners AJ and Ravi have seen their vision come to fruition and blossom! They have earned a stellar reputation among the business community on personal and professional levels and have built relationships based on trust and performance.
The owners are proud to manage a small team of professionals who demonstrate best practices in website development and online marketing strategies; and consistently strive to provide exemplary customer service and dynamic products of the highest quality and value, best-suited for each client. This includes forward-thinking goals to improve their clients’ visibility via Google organic growth and Google My Business, which are crucial to boosting SEO rankings!
But that’s not all. The KallistoArt team, not only goes above and beyond working diligently for their clients, the team actively supports its community and organizations across Tampa Bay.
Following the onset of COVID-19, KallistoArt offered all members of UTB Chamber and Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce a FREE website update service, to add coronavirus-related, business operations information, even if members of these organizations were not clients of KallistoArt. The team also released literature to business owners and contacts, to serve as a guide to surviving the COVID-19 economic slow-down.
KallistoArt is a frequent donor to Project Pop Drop by Platinum International; participates in event donations to Oldsmar Cares; and offers bi-annual presentations at Relationship Builder events to help local businesses become more competitive online.
Additionally, KallistoArt is in the process of launching a new e-commerce marketplace, TradePaddle, to help local manufacturers, artists and craftsmen more readily succeed in this uncertain economy. The TradePaddle platform aims to connect local artisans, creators and entrepreneurs of American- and Canadian-made goods with potential buyers across North America.
“The idea is to foster entrepreneurship by providing a helping hand to more easily sell locally-made goods nationally, while keeping money in the local community,” AJ explained.
As community champions and experts in online marketing and website development, KallistoArt extends their experience and expertise to area businesses in a variety of forms. Creativity prevails in artwork and design processes for marketing tools and brand identity, including banners, brochures, business cards, catalogs, clothing, and more.
Successful brand strategies begin with a thorough consultation with AJ or Ravi, determining if competitor analyses, marketing research, brand-naming, art/illustrations, photography, or videography may be required.
The KallistoArt team also includes professional photographers and videographers who understand the vision of each project and utilize digital and drone photography to capture impeccable images and videos, for the perfect look and feel of website designs, online marketing and branding strategies.
KallistoArt has achieved success due to the tireless efforts of AJ, Ravi, and the entire team, but most importantly, because of the many satisfied clients, many of whom have returned for additional services or referred KallistoArt services to friends and colleagues.
AJ shared, “KallistoArt is all about maintaining and fostering long-term customer relationships. Therefore, many customers maintain multi-project and multi-year business relationships with KallistoArt. Clients are attracted to our work because of the warm and fuzzy feeling we create in a new web presence, in online marketing tools and with branding strategies.”
The KallistoArt owners and team are humbled and honored to be a recipient of the UTB Chamber 2020 Small Business of the Year award and proudly serve small- to medium-sized businesses across the Tampa Bay area and throughout the United States and Canada.
Having been chosen as UTB Chamber 2020 Small Business of the Year serves to validate the vision and stoke the passion for the mission to continue to provide contemporary, creative solutions in website design and development, online marketing and branding strategies for years to come!
